Notes From Clue's New Foster Mom!! **Day 1**

No one thought Clue would eat much, but here she is shoving her bowl under me to clean it all out. I backed away and she then ate my food too. Good thing I had finished!....Victor

Victor came barreling into the room while Clue was finishing her extra helping of dinner (aka, eating the rest of Victor’s), and slid into her when he tried to stop.
Clue immediately spun, jumped on him (he had fallen in his haste to stop) and snapped at him. She also immediately backed off when I hollered at her.
On our first walk together, Victor made the mistake of trying to sniff Clue’s bottom,..... again – oops.
She doesn’t snap, but she does spin around and growl loudly.
Clue walks everywhere, Victor trots. Clue also has a slinky wiggle when she walks, as though she’s on high heels.
Clue knows her name, seems to understand come, and responds to, no.
ClueFirst time I saw her really happy (ears up, tail going a mile a minute) was when she greeted me when I got home.
They are both asleep as I write this. Victor on one side of the bed on his pillow and Clue on the other on her blanket – which she has chosen. I had to bring it in from the living room to get her to settle down. She wouldn’t lie anywhere else.
Clue has given me two brief kisses already.
